Catholic Charities West Virginia Relocates to Community Bread Basket in Weirton

Catholic Charities West Virginia (CCWVa) is pleased to announce the relocation of its Weirton office to the Community Bread Basket facility. This move strengthens CCWVa’s ability to serve individuals and families in the Northern Panhandle by providing increased access to compassionate care and vital support services.

While both organizations remain independent, this shared space will enhance collaboration and provide greater convenience for clients seeking assistance. Catholic Charities West Virginia will continue offering its core services at the new location, including emergency financial assistance and other resources aimed at addressing poverty and promoting stability.

“We’re grateful for the opportunity to relocate our office to such a welcoming and mission-aligned space,” said Mark Phillips, President and CEO of Catholic Charities West Virginia. “By working alongside Community Bread Basket, we can offer our services in a more accessible location while continuing to walk with our neighbors in need with dignity and love.”

Community Bread Basket will continue to operate all of its own programs and outreach efforts as usual. The co-location simply provides a new home for CCWVa’s Weirton team as they continue their work throughout Hancock and Brooke Counties.

Catholic Charities West Virginia is the largest private social service provider in the state, serving all 55 counties with compassionate care for tens of thousands each year. Rooted in God’s love, we serve all people—regardless of faith or background—working alongside communities to create lasting change and help individuals reach their full potential.
